The Wild Oats have been through several transitions since starting in The band began with Eben Brooks (guitar, vocals, bodhràn, songwriting), Allison Lonsdale (guitar, vocals), Enrique Acosta (percussion, vocals), Fawn Patton (guitar, vocals), and Laurie Flieder (flute).

Limited 10” vinyl pressing. In the swinging ‘60s, the very small town of Leiston in Suffolk was home to its own beat group: the Wild Oats. In budding producer David Nicolson put an ad for new bands in the NME and the Oats were the first to reply.

This LP was on an imprint of T.K. Productions, the label from Florida that also distributed K.C. and the Sunshine Band's records. "Wild Oats" was released in The band included Joe Beshouri, Marc Levy (also the band's principal songwriter) Kip Paulen, and Larry Tollin (co-writer on two of the songs).4/5(1).
