The Doors - Morrison Hotel (CD, Album, Album)

Product description. CD > POPULAR MUSIC > ROCK The next-to-last Doors album, recorded prior to Jim Morrison's still mystery-shrouded death in a Parisian bathtub, eschewed much of the band's previous penchant for baroque musical, poetic, and philosophical pretensions (this was, after all, the back-to-roots era of the Beatles' Let It Be, the Stones' Let It Bleed, and Dylan's /5().

Whatever! It will be a more durable cover anyway. The record itself is what’s most important. And the record is top notch. My last Doors reissue to buy. I have the debut, Strange Days, LA Woman and now Morrison Hotel (these are the best albums by The Doors) and they ALL sound incredible. LA Woman being the best overall sound wise/5().

The Doors. –. Morrison Hotel. Label: Elektra – Format: CD, HDCD, Album, Reissue, Remastered. Country: Europe.

 · Going back to blues and R&B basics seemed like the only direction to pursue. Morrison Hotel is often dubbed the Doors ' blues album, due to raucous opener "Roadhouse Blues," one of the band's most enduring tunes. (Interestingly, it was issued /10(K).
